Venue
Big Thunder Events is based at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire. The Bruntingthorpe site was constructed in 1942 as a World War II Airfield. Operating under the code name of ‘Big Thunder’ the airfield was used by the US Air Force as a strategic heavy bomber base from 1954 until 1962.
Bruntingthorpe is currently the largest privately owned vehicle test track facility in the UK.
At the heart of the 670 acre site is an impressive 4 mile circuit and an amazing 2 mile straight - one of the longest in the country.
